I’ve kind of excited for Beatles Rock Band, mainly because it will be a plastic instrument game that isn’t completely throwaway in 2009. Here’s the awesome advert promoting the game, which is out in a couple of weeks.
Very well thought out even if the Beatles look really creepy.

Harmonix have further released details on how you will transfer the songs on the Rock Band 1 disk to Rock Band 2. Despite that fact that you only really need to swap the disks over, Harmonix are offering the option to transfer them from the disk to the hard drive purely for convenience.

Electronic Arts, Harmonix and and MTV Games today confirmed that Rock Band 2 will definitly be coming to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and Wii sometime in 2008.  They did however confirm that this will be well after the game is released for the XBox 360 console.
