Fable 2 Reports From GDC

Recently big name, game creator, Peter Molyneux talked about his next game Fable 2. Instead of complaining about how much of this will actually be in the final game, I’ll just tell you.

The first announcement was of an XBLA game that will work with Fable 2. Named Keysto, it is a pub style game, described as a cross over between Roulette & Craps. The main thing we learnt was that any money you make in this game will affect your purse in Fable 2. Keysto will be released a few weeks before Fable 2 so you have time to save up.

We then discovered the game would have ‘dynamic co-op play integrated into the game’. I’m picturing something like Burnout’s online play.

Although we didn’t learn much that was way to ambitious (the norm from Molyneux’s speeches) we did learn about some interesting ideas that sound achievable within Fable 2.
