Best Platform Exclusives

Instead of repeating ourselves we are going to quickly wrap up our individual platform awards. These are given to the best unique exclusive on their respective platform.

Gears of War 2 just about did enough to win the Xbox 360 exclusive of the year with it’s excellent graphics, improved multiplayer support along with an all around better storyline and complete package. Meanwhile in a complete opposite to Gears, the Playstation 3 exclusive of the year goes to the quirky LittleBigPlanet.

EA’s Boom Blox picks up it’s second deserved award for easily being the best Wii Exclusive of the year. Meanwhile on the handheld side of things the Korg DS wins simply due to the massive amounts of fun you can have with it’s uniqueness. The PSP’s standout exclusive goes to Locoroco 2.

Finally in a hotly contested Multi Platform game of the year the award goes to Burnout Paradise. This just beat Mirror’s Edge, Fallout 3, Call of Duty World At War and especially Grand Theft Auto 4. The truth is that GTA4 nearly had it if it wasn’t for it’s horrible PC support and in a multi platform award it all counts.
