Welcome to the new look Nidzumi for 2010. We’ve made some changes around here to reflect our increase in content and the way we’ll be going forward throughout the year.

It’s a radical change but it’s one that we felt needed to happen. The constantly changing backgrounds were great but not accessible, so instead of backgrounds we now have large and image rich headers for every single article. We’ve also cleaned up the design a lot, it will work correctly on more browsers and our improvements will make content easier and more enjoyable to access.

Let’s start with the Home Page, here we have our last three featured articles across the top along with easy-to-access recent article panes for both reviews and features. Meanwhile our The Review Page has been changed to reflect platforms rather than a massive list.

We’ve also added a new section called ‘Editor’s Choice’ for games that have received the highest – 5 out of 5 stars – rating we can give. We’ve only given out 37 of these in two years and we’ve reviewed nearly 200 games in that short space of time, so you can be assured that these games are quality throughout.

We also have separate pages for our sporadically updated Podcast and Staff Blog. Both of which, will be featured more on the site with more regular shows and frequent posts, respectively.

Individual articles also have a few neat features we feel you should be aware of. The sidebar will be populated with related posts, a short bio on the writer – along with a sexy photo – and a plethora of specific and site-wide information.
