We tend not to buy into all the rumours and speculation that plague the video game news outlets like…well… a plague. But the Playstation 3 Slim rumour has been consistently around either because of an element of truth or people just want to believe.
In this weeks edition of IGN’s GameScoop! Podcast, around the 45 minute mark, another inkling might suggest that there’s some foundation to this ongoing rumour. After discussing supposed videos of the PS3 appearing on YouTube the following occurred.
“Because we have one for real.”
“Yeah, but that’s…”
“Yeah, but that’s under wraps.”
“Sorry, I wasn’t supposed to say that, was I?”
“We can edit that out. David can edit that out.”
“45 minutes. OK.”
Only David didn’t edit it out. I’d normally can this with people on podcasts being people on podcasts and simply joking around but they sounded quite serious. But who can tell?
