We’re carrying on from last weeks publisher’s preview of E3 2009 and undoubtedly the biggest line up from a single publisher is EA’s plethora of titles. From sports to casual with everything in between, everyone has at least one thing they are looking forward to.
Diving straight into sports, EA are bringing nearly everything even the soon to be released EA Sports Active, Grand Slam Tennis and Fight Night Round 4. We’ll get longer and more revealing looks at FIFA 10, Madden 10, NHL 10, Tiger Woods 10 and more games that sound like they are the tenth in the series.
Elsewhere ones to look out for are Bad Company 2, Mass Effect 2 and the highly anticipated Dante’s Inferno. We’ll also get a lot more hands-on time with the new generation of Need for Speed titles as it’s make-or-break time for that series. Surprisingly we haven’t seen anything from Criterion for a while as Black 2 or a follow up to Burnout Paradise haven’t been included but you never know.

The, recently bought out by Square Enix, Eidos Interactive have bought a handful of titles they are working on. The game with something to prove, Just Cause 2 will be one to look out for. While Just Cause 1 might have been rough around the edges, Just Cause 2 has been built on next-gen consoles from the ground up. Batman Arkham Asylum and Mini Ninjas will also be at the event while Tomb Raider doesn’t appear to be in transit for E3 this year.
THQ’s line-up might not be as big as EAs but it’s got enough stand out hits on it. Warhammer’s attempts at gaming continue with Warhammer 40K: Space Marine. The more intriguing titles from THQ are four horsemen of the apocalypse touting Darksiders along with the little known futuristic shooting of Homefront.
In an E3 that will be one of the last before new hardware should see the light of day, 2009’s fanfare will be soley focused on the games. Why shouldn’t it be really? That’s why we are all here. It just seems like a lot of titles won’t get the attension they deserve in a packed show floor.
What are you guy’s looking forward to?
