That’s right we’ve got a brand new search engine installed on the site that should make it easier to find what you are looking for. Not only can you know include quotation marks, pluses’ and minus’ to narrow down the results but now the search will be based around algorithms to make the whole feature more useful.

The results will be sorted by where the phrase is in the article. If it’s the in the title it will jump to the top and if it’s in the article text it’s self it will be lower down. Makes sense right? Well if you want to know how to take full advantage of the search enter in any term and click ‘Need Help?’. This will then give you a nice and easy to understand guide for getting the most out of the search.

We’ve also made the Features page easier to look at. It’s based around the front page and is better suited to our more common features like The Hot Topic or Back In Time. We will make better archives in weeks to come so it’s easier to look at our entire back catalog.

These changes have been implemented because of the number of articles we’ve aquired over the past year. We are about to hit 300 articles and these can’t be displayed on one page anymore. We will also be changing the reviews and previews pages with top 10 lists for reviews and other sortable tables.

Also a quick note we will be posting more stuff like the Sega Vinyl blog post we made last week. Nidzumian is going to expand from just site development into a full gaming blog with news and opinions. Just a place were we can sound off on developments without having a massive feature or article on it.

Anyway enjoy the new search.
