This year we are planning to launch the first in an annual award feature here on Nidzumi. We’ll be handing out awards to the cream of this years excellent crop of games. We’ve been treated to a lot of great stuff this year and we hope to give those of top quality the recognition they deserve.
We have over 25 awards to be handed out. Starting with the basic best game on x console or within x genre and then moving on to a few unique awards like most artistic game of the year and best in game soundtrack. We’ll even been offering a few dubious awards like most disappointing and worst looking game of the year. Then finally we’ll be doing the grand daddy of them all the game of the year award.
It would be a big give away to tell you the nominees for every single award but here is our shortlist for the Game of the Year Award. Gears of War 2, Grand Theft Auto 4, Burnout Paradise, Football Manager 2009, NHL09, Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet & finally but by no means least, GRID.
Anyway as you could imagine a lot of work goes into the whole process so we’ve got to get back to that. In the meantime enjoy this year’s awards with our free desktop backgrounds.
