Electronic Arts, Harmonix and and MTV Games today confirmed that Rock Band 2 will definitly be coming to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and Wii sometime in 2008. They did however confirm that this will be well after the game is released for the XBox 360 console.
The game is to be released on the Microsoft XBox 360 in September, however no exact timeframe has yet been confirmed for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 or Wii versions of the game.
We expect the game to be released on these other platforms in time for the seasonal period of 2008.
Rock Band 2 will contain a tracklisting of well over 80 songs, and will boast all new instruments. Rock Band 2 is set to be unveiled at next weeks E3, so stay tuned for further updates and information on the game.
