It seems that Sony have waited until after GDC to announce all their big news as they have announced that the DualShock 3 will be released April 15th although it will cost $54.99.

My guess is, it rumbles and only costs $5 more than the normal Sixaxis

I’ve been tempted to import one of these from Japan for some time now. I would only really want one for Metal Gear Solid 4, as my PS3 doesn’t get much playtime currently.

I feel Sony should be shipping these controllers out at no cost to owners of the PS3 which came packaged with the standard, non-rumbling Six-Axis. It’s not likely to happen, but I think they should do it.
